Goals

I am a budding information professional.  Here are some of my professional goals:

1. Staying current with new technologies and experimenting with new tools.
2. Reaching out to libraries and/or patrons in new ways.
3. Redefining roles in order to better suite the needs patrons and the skills of the librarians.
4. Marketing the library, its services and resources.
5. Collaborating with colleagues, other libraries, consortia, to provide better services and more resources across different departments or different libraries (joint licensing, ILL and document delivery, reciprocal borrowing, collaborative instruction, etc.).
6. Teaching and learning from other information professionals.
